Noko Qüeon Vrët (/ˈnoko/ /q˔on/ [TRUE] [demon; monster]) is a temperate Town located in Bumokememo Zone, Bæru̽sa Vu̽ Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Noko Qüeon Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Noko Qüeon Vrët was founded by Blodwen Daelret, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Noko Qüeon Vrët has a yearly average temperature of 9°C (48°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing -9°C (16°F). Overview

Noko Qüeon Vrët was founded durring the early 18th century in late fall of the year 1704, by Blodwen Daelret. The establishment of Noko Qüeon Vrët was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Noko Qüeon Vrët's construction back out of the project. Blodwen Daelret pushed on reguardles, and Noko Qüeon Vrët was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Noko Qüeon Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 18th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Noko Qüeon Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Noko Qüeon Vrët is was constructed arround several spacious flagstone mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Noko Qüeon Vrët's exceptionaly well made fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look around Noko Qüeon Vrët is like looking into a university’s plaza on the day before an exam. People rush about to-and-fro. Discarded scrolls and quills are dotted around town. In spite of many locals discussing academic topics, there’s little sign of any organized groups for any of that talk. Infact, the town seems disordered in general with everything scattered helter skelter about.

Cultural Notes

The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.

Noko Qüeon Vrët's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.

In Noko Qüeon Vrët there is a constant smell of overcooked presumably ethnic food.

The Donratty near Noko Qüeon Vrët are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Noko Qüeon Vrët's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves destroying a prepared ritual vessel to channel Invocation energies of tier 3 via proclamations.
